Kienberger Schwarzer Haufen
The Kienberger Schwarze Haufen was founded in 2006 at Burg Raben in the Fläming region and is a community of history enthusiasts dedicated to the living reenactment of bygone eras. Through numerous historical festivals, new members have continually joined the group, so that today around 30 participants from various regions of Germany share in camp life, with a focus on the Wittenberg area and Saxony-Anhalt.
At Luther’s wedding, the Schwarze Haufen will present a diverse historical encampment that brings together different eras. Since there is no set dress code, visitors will encounter a colorful mix of Vikings, Landsknechts, travelers, and other historical figures. Weapons and armor are on display, as well as communal cooking, crafts, and social gatherings around the campfire. Stories, interaction, and community are at the heart of the experience, conveying a vivid picture of historical daily life.
