We kindly ask you to avoid trav­el­ing by car if pos­sible and to use pub­lic trans­port­a­tion instead. Luth­er­stadt Wit­ten­ber­g’s main train sta­tion is excel­lently con­nec­ted to the region­al and nation­al rail net­work and is with­in walk­ing dis­tance of the fest­iv­al grounds.

Any­one in pos­ses­sion of a val­id ​“entry tick­et” or a 63-euro tick­et may use the shuttle ser­vice free of charge upon present­a­tion of these tickets.

Oth­er­wise, the stand­ard fare for pub­lic trans­port­a­tion in the Wit­ten­berg dis­trict applies.

Arrival by Bicycle

Bicycles can be parked out­side the fest­iv­al grounds. Addi­tion­al bicycle racks will be set up on the green space in front of the zoo and in the park area par­al­lel to Elb­straße. Driv­ing through the fest­iv­al grounds is not pos­sible dur­ing event hours.

Lim­ited park­ing in the down­town area

Due to the expec­ted high num­ber of vis­it­ors and the large size of the fest­iv­al grounds, many park­ing spaces in the down­town area will not be avail­able, as they are loc­ated with­in the restric­ted zones. Park­ing with­in the fest­iv­al grounds is there­fore not pos­sible. Please use the sign­posted detours and park­ing options. Dur­ing the fest­iv­al, Luth­er­stadt Wit­ten­berg offers two spe­cial park­ing lots with free spaces on Dob­schütz­straße and near the main train station.

Arrival by train

• ICE stop on the Ham­burg – Munich route: Luth­er­stadt Wit­ten­berg, Cent­ral Station
• S‑Bahn and loc­al trains from Leipzig, Des­sau, Mag­de­burg, Halle, Ber­lin and oth­er des­tin­a­tions; stops: Luth­er­stadt Wit­ten­berg Cent­ral Sta­tion and Luth­er­stadt Wit­ten­berg – Old Town

Ensure you can arrive and depart quickly, com­fort­ably and stress-free, DB Regio AG, South-East Region, on behalf of Nahverkehrsser­vice Sach­sen-Anhalt (NASA), is once again offer­ing addi­tion­al late-even­ing and night-time ser­vices this year, in addi­tion to the sched­uled trains.

Addi­tion­al depar­ture from Luth­er­stadt-Wit­ten­berg Cent­ral Sta­tion on 12 June and dur­ing the night of 12/13 June 2026:

• 00:48 RB 51 to Dessau
• 01:59 RE 3 to Halle via Des­sau, with addi­tion­al stops at Luth­er­stadt-Wit­ten­berg-Alt­stadt and Coswig

as well as sched­uled trains accord­ing to the annu­al timetable.

Addi­tion­al depar­ture on 13 June or dur­ing the night of 13 – 14 June 2026:

• 23:23 RB 51 to Dessau
• 23:00 Bus to Bit­ter­feld (rail replace­ment ser­vice from main sta­tion, plat­form 7)
• 00:17 RB 51 to Annaburg
• 00:48 RB 51 to Dessau
• 01:00 Bus to Bit­ter­feld Rail replace­ment ser­vice from main sta­tion, plat­form 7
• 01:59 RE 3 to Halle via Des­sau, with an addi­tion­al stop in Coswig

as well as sched­uled trains accord­ing to the annu­al timetable.

Unfor­tu­nately, no spe­cial ser­vices are pos­sible on the Heide-Bahn Lu.-Wittenberg – Eilen­burg line. This is due to infra­struc­ture defects that have not been rec­ti­fied. In addi­tion to region­al ser­vices, there will be con­nec­tions on 13 and 14 June with ICE trains to Ber­lin and to Leipzig.

Please pay par­tic­u­lar atten­tion to timetable changes for ser­vices to Bit­ter­feld, Jüter­bog and Ber­lin due to
con­struc­tion work.
