On Wall­straße, it’s not just par­ents who’ll find some­thing to enjoy— play and fun for every child

Play, fun, and adven­ture await in the shade of the 500 trees planted to sym­bol­ize the 500^th anniversary of the Reform­a­tion. Wall­straße is the city’s longest play street and, at dusk, a fant­ast­ic adven­ture trail!

Rumor has it that a fire-breath­ing dragon is up to no good here.

Wall­straße serves as a link between the mar­ket square and the castle. It also provides access to all the his­tor­ic court­yards, such as the Cranach-Hof or the Weberhof.

All day long: craft booths, board games, a hand-cranked carou­sel, a knight’s castle, a fairy-tale tent, a water play mobile, wood carving, face paint­ing for kids, and much more.

Wall­straße is full of fair­ies and forest spir­its, with a giant and a small dragon, uni­corn riders, dan­cing bears, a stub­born don­key, and a rolling horse.
