The Kem­ber­ger Lebenszeiten e.V. asso­ci­ation was foun­ded in 2001 and brings togeth­er mem­bers of dif­fer­ent gen­er­a­tions who share a com­mon interest in bring­ing his­tor­ic­al ways of life to life. For many years, the asso­ci­ation has been an integ­ral part of Luther’s Wed­ding in Wit­ten­berg. Start­ing as early as Thursday, mem­bers set up camp on the castle lawn and cre­ate an authen­t­ic his­tor­ic­al set­ting there. They par­ti­cip­ate in the grand parade as well as the children’s parade, where the flower chil­dren in par­tic­u­lar add to the festivities.

The focus is on his­tor­ic­al cloth­ing and daily life in the camp. Vis­it­ors gain insights into cus­toms, com­mun­al life, and the atmo­sphere of bygone eras, which the asso­ci­ation brings to life with great ded­ic­a­tion and joy.
