For three days, the historic old town will become a colorful 16th-century setting — with market bustle, parades, and a stage program that blends tradition with modern festival culture.

New for the anniversary:
For the first time, the market square will be freely accessible and, under the motto Fanfares and Frills,” will become an open meeting place featuring historical trade, crafts, music, and culinary offerings.

Highlights 2026:

  • Entrance of the Luther couple & ceremonial opening
  • Grand historical parade
  • Concerts featuring Tanzwut, Batiar Gang, and Rosenstolz Tribute, among others
  • Hands-on activities, crafts & culinary delights

Luther’s wedding is a celebration of joy, festivity, and community.

Whether in elegant attire or rustic farm clothing — those who dress appropriately become part of the atmosphere. And even without a costume, the rule is: dive right into the colorful hustle and bustle, experience it together, enjoy it, and join in the celebration!
