Fun, games and adventure for young and old

To mark the 500th anniversary of Luther’s wedding, a magical world for the whole family awaits you in Lutherstadt Wittenberg. In Wallstraße, the neighbourhood is transformed into a lively play street that delights children and adults with numerous activities during the day. At dusk, a mysterious adventure trail is created here — a place where even a fire-breathing dragon is said to be up to mischief!

From the market square to the castle, the trail leads through historic courtyards such as the Cranach-Hof and the Weberhof. There are exciting attractions everywhere: Craft stalls, board games, a lovingly designed crank carousel, a knight’s castle, a fairytale tent, a water play mobile and wood carvings await young adventurers. Children can also be transformed into imaginative figures with face painting.

Magical creatures such as fairies and forest spirits await you, while a unicorn rider, dancing bears, a stubborn donkey and a rolling horse provide magical moments. In the Weberhof, the popular hot tub awaits all those in need of a refreshing break.

Outside the festival grounds, the Arsenalplatz awaits you with the scent of candy floss and popcorn in the air. Here you will find fairground rides, a lottery booth and the highlight of the day: who can hit the highest shot at the Hau den Lukas’?

A very special highlight of the festival is the historical children’s parade on Sunday, in which 400 children from Wittenberg clubs and schools parade through the streets. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and ends on the market square.
