Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.
Server Data
For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser to us or to our server provider will be collected, especially to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log files record the type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the webpages on our site visited, the date and time of your visit, the IP address from which you visited our site, as well as the transferred amount of data and the requesting provider.
The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data.
The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.
The data will be deleted within no more than seven days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.
Cookies
- Functional session cookies
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing us, for example, to display our website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website.
When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.
- Disabling cookies
You can refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser. Likewise, you can use the browser to delete cookies that have already been stored. However, the steps and measures required vary, depending on the browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your browser or contact its maker for support.
If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, not all of the functions on our site may be fully usable.
Social media links
We also integrate the following social media sites into our website. The integration takes place via a linked graphic of the respective site. The use of these graphics stored on our own servers prevents the automatic connection to the servers of these networks for their display. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic will you be forwarded to the service of the respective social network.
Once you click, that network may record information about you and your visit to our site. It cannot be ruled out that such data will be processed in the United States.
Initially, this data includes such things as your IP address, the date and time of your visit, and the page visited. If you are logged into your user account on that network, however, the network operator might assign the information collected about your visit to our site to your personal account. If you interact by clicking Like, Share, etc., this information can be stored your personal user account and possibly posted on the respective network. To prevent this, you need to log out of your social media account before clicking on the graphic. The various social media networks also offer settings that you can configure accordingly.
The following social networks are integrated into our site by linked graphics:

Travel Service
On our website we link to the travel information of the Deutsche Bahn (DB Vertrieb GmbH, Stephensonstraße 1, 60326 Frankfurt am Main). The integration takes place via a linked graphic or a linked text. The use of these links prevents the automatic establishment of a connection to the external provider's server when a website with a corresponding link is called up. Only by a click on the appropriate link the user is passed on to the service of the provider.
After the user has been forwarded, the provider collects information about the user. This includes data such as IP address, date, time and page visited. If the user is logged into the provider's user account during this time, the network operator may assign the information collected from the user's specific visit to the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a "Share" button of the respective provider, this information can be stored in the personal user account of the user and, if necessary, published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being assigned directly to his user account, he must log out before clicking on the graphic. It is also possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.

YouTube Video
We use YouTube on our website. This is a video portal operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter referred to as "YouTube".

https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google and its subsidiary YouTube guarantee that they will follow the EU's data protection regulations when processing data in the United States.
We use YouTube in its advanced privacy mode to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website. According to YouTube, the advanced privacy mode means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video.
Without this mode, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA will be established as soon as you access any of our webpages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is required in order to be able to display the respective video on our website within your browser. YouTube will record and process at a minimum your IP address, the date and time the video was displayed, as well as the website you visited.
If you are logged in to YouTube when you access our site, YouTube will assign the connection information to your YouTube account. To prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our site or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube account.

Google Maps
We use the “Google Maps” component on our site to visually display geographic information. Google Maps is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). For details on privacy related to the use of Google Maps, please visit the Google Site ("Google Privacy Policy & Terms of Use"): https://policies.google.com/privacy and the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Use https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps/.
The use of a two-click solution prevents our website from automatically establishing a connection to the respective server of the third-party provider to display the external content when it is accessed. So you decide for yourself whether the provider collects information about you.
When Google Maps is used, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the Maps functions by visitors to the websites. If the user is logged into the user account of the respective third-party provider during this time, the provider may be able to assign the information collected from the user's specific visit to the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a "Share" button of the respective network, this information can be stored in the personal user account of the user and, if necessary, published. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being directly assigned to his user account, he must log out before clicking on the link. It is also possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.
In the event that personal data is transferred to Google LLC. based in the USA, Google LLC. has certified itself in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield, which ensures compliance with EU data protection regulations even when processing data in the USA. A current certificate can be viewed here: EU-US data protection sign https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active.
